A commissioned painting is a project, which involves the creative input of both the artist and the client. The artist will work with the ideas of the client and provide rough sketches to interpret those ideas on paper. It is a collaborative effort. After the client has approved sketches, the artist is free to bring the sketches to life with a finished painting. Ultimately, the finished painting is the artist’s interpretation. Changes may evolve as the painting progresses. |
